Manage crew schedule

CMS solution is a powerful tool that, through an optimized process, focus to allocate the most appropriate train drivers to the planned trains, considering safety, lower cost of overtime, daily and stopped train time reduction.

The ACMS performs the crew schedule planning (monthly and D + 1) and then runs the scale, both using an optimization model of the train driver schedule process. It also has an integration through smartphones to call-on-duty and scheduling the transport of the train driver, enabling the input of the train driver time sheet performed on time and providing important information to the train driver in real time through the smartphone. Dashboard with performance indicators are also available for management decision making.

YARD CONTROL CENTER

Train consist assembling and shunting activity improvement

To help railway companies enhance their train consist assembling productivity and yard process improvements and standardization, ART has developed the Yard Control Center (YCC), a maneuver and train consist assembling planning system that aims to increase safety, asset productivity (locomotives and wagons) and reduce operational costs.

It provides a graphical panel for planning and controlling yard activities in a user-friendly graphical interface.

The YCC helps the operators to plan and check the maneuver accuracy and provides precise rolling stock position information, increasing assertiveness on asset status and location.

Railway infrastructure maintenance

ART understands that improved results in a railway depends on three main factors: Productivity, Safety and Return on Investments (ROI). In order to achieve those goals the performance analysis should be continuous and systematic.

So, we developed the Visualization App (APVis), a tool that provides the crew supervisors statistical analysis of train speed, limits exceeded, traction effort, brake application, electronic fence activation, and other information recorded by the on-board equipment.
Then, the APV is processes trip performance and identifies operational situations, in the railways interest, which can be specifically addressed.

The YMS provides a complete solution to control rail yards, encompassing railway management and safety requirements.

SS - CTC

SMART AND SIMPLE – CENTRALIZED TRAFFIC CONTROL

Operation in non-signalled areas

Centralized traffic control(CTC) is arailway signalling systemthat consolidates train routing decisions previously carried out by local operators or the train crews themselves.The system consists of a centralized train dispatcher’s office that controls railway interlocking and traffic flows in sections of the rail system designated as CTC territory.

In order to provide CTC productivity with lower investment, ART developed the Smart and Simple -Centralized Traffic Control (SS-CTC) architecture, for railways which operate in non-signalled areas.
The SS-CTC solution utilises positioning information generated by wayside equipment and on-board systems. This combined data implements similar CTC functionality and features, with less investment on signalling, than traditional architectures in use.
